How much time does it take?
The timing just depends on how dirty each surface area is. We will only perform work during hours that work for you.
What chemicals are used?
Any chemicals we use are definitely safe for pets and humans. Nothing we use will smell up your home or be used in any toxic form. We can provide an SDS sheet for you if any chemical is being used.
What do we receive after getting a quote and booking a time?
You will receive before-and-after videos and photos we have, a service report explaining what we did that day, and any repairs we see that are needed or of concern to you, the owner.

How Often Should a Kitchen Hood Be Cleaned?
Cleaning frequency depends on cooking volume and food type. Many restaurants schedule monthly, quarterly, or semi-annual restaurant kitchen exhaust cleaning to meet insurance, AHJ, and NFPA 96 expectations.
Do You Clean the Entire Exhaust System?
Yes. Our commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning can include the hood, filters, ductwork, and exhaust fan based on system design and the agreed scope of work.

We schedule off-hours or low-traffic windows whenever possible to reduce downtime and support uninterrupted restaurant operations.

Can You Bundle Hood Cleaning With Other Services?
Yes. Many clients combine commercial kitchen hood cleaning with janitorial services, pressure washing, grease trap cleaning, or other food service equipment cleaning for simpler scheduling and vendor management.

How much time does it take to complete the job:
I tell everyone anywhere between 3.5 and 8 hours. It all depends on how dirty or maintained the system is and its size.
What chemical do we use?
We use 3 different commercial-grade degreasers. We can provide you the details you need at any time. Also, use a water-based stainless steel polish and water at the end.
Do I have to be there the whole time you are cleaning?
The answer is NO. If you leave a key, tell us how to lock up or get in to start. I will send you videos of the lockup and leave and place keys, locks, codes, or anything you need to make it the smoothest process. It's common for us to let ourselves in or out.
What do you clean?
The fan, the duct, any and all access panels, a circumference around the fan on the roof, the filters, the back wall as far as we can reach, the trough behind the filters, and the exterior canopy. Everything is cleaned and put back up, and the stainless steel is polished. If there are additional areas, we can certainly take care of them and discuss pricing at the time of the request.

24-7, we work weekends and weekdays; whatever works best
Do you file with the fire department?
Yes, we will file it within 24 hours of service completion and send you a copy. To either TegrisFire or The Compliance Engine. If not, we will email the local fire marshal stating it has been cleaned and you are good as well as if you are not part of a city that has filing as an option.
Do you handle repairs, installations, full replacements, or emergencies?
Yes, we service all areas of the system and handle emergencies as well. Call, text, or email us at (425) 344-8166; we'll get back to you right away.
What all comes with the price?
You get what we call the "packet" here.
Before and after photos, videos, an after-service report, in person, and an email. Invoice, a certification sticker, proof of fire department filing, notes and photos of any areas of concern, repairs to be made, and details of how we can help facilitate those needs, plus 24/7 customer service available to you if any issue or emergency work arises.
Payment terms:
We accept checks, credit cards, or cash. We prefer payment at the time of service, but if you need to mail or make a payment later, that's no worry with us.
